When you want to post back to back but no one is available. -cries a river of tears-

I hate realizing that honesty is not rewarded by any means. That I would have kept more friends/potential friends if I had just lied to their faces. It doesn't even have to be a good lie apparently, just any old lie would do. So long as I just don't tell the truth I'd be good.

It's a bit more complicated because you always have to sign up in order to learn if deleting posts is enabled or not. And can you list the sites that do? I know I have joined jcink sites in the past but I've not come across it once so I'm wondering if it's just the genre I join that doesn't seem to do it? Oh, and if you could include a screenshot of how to do it on maybe a site you are currently apart of that would be awesome because maybe I just 100% missed where you can do it? Thank you!

And it isn't really about just 'doing it' when it comes to asking an admin. I'm just 100% not comfortable with it new site or not.

Edit: Never mind I read Gimmick's post about the trashcan situation. So even if it's enabled it's still not really in my power to have my posts deleted. Still, it's good to learn about all of this so thank you guys for clarifying things. ♥

I learned this recently! But the issue I've never found a jcink site that allows this TT_TT. And I could never go to an admin and ask something big like that, it gives me too much stress because it does feel like a really big change. Whereas with proboards it's 100% default, so you always have that option. But I am very happy to know it is a possibility on jcink. Thank you for the information Ulla!

I'm the opposite. xD I refuse to ever join a jcink site. Because I despise having no control over my OWN content. Proboards, I can delete my posts, my accounts etc. Everything I make is protected that way. Whereas with jcink you are at the mercy of the admins and from my experience it never goes the way you want it to. Even when you practically beg them to delete your content because you've been stolen from before. ^^;;;

Things I hate about proboards though is how you can lose posts when you switch accounts. It's a pain. I don't mind account switching though. I like mostly clicking switch forum because it gives me a great view of all my accounts, notifications, pms, bookmarks etc. From ALL my proboards forums. And I like that I can customize it further by click off individual accounts I don't want to see or moving a board up to the top if it's most active for me.

I really like proboards live preview feature, and really hate jcinks lack of and also just general posting area, not sure if it's all the code and inability to see what your post looks like while editing (as in editing a written post not the code xD)...but it just really zaps my motivation.

I'm excited for v6 of proboards though since issues I've brought up with them (like how when you paste into the live preview mode it spaces it really weird) and they say that it's repaired in the next version.

All and all though, my advice is 1: try both out for yourself, even just joining a jcink site/proboards site will give you a clear vision of what YOU personally like/don't like about it. Or 2: I'd suggest jcink. XD;;; Since, in the end, the biggest advantage jcink has is that there are a lot of people who will only join jcink and even more people who like it more than proboards. So you will 100% get a bigger audience if you pick jcink.

Hello, introducing PA. It's a proboards site, with an academy setting as it's main focus, but there is a city for citizens if you fancy. It's a relaxed place, with lots of friendly members. ♥ I'm so bad at selling my own site I'm sorry. Will say that it's great to have you back and I hope that you end up finding a place to settle in and write.

Trying to think what else to say about PA. xD We have a bunch of neat plugins, like a comment system (where you can comment on other people's individual posts rather than having to post something new), we have a hashtag plugin, so you can organize better if you wanted. I mostly use it for moodboards.

First off, love your picture on the side, the art style is very *chef* kiss. I've stalked french sites before, I translate their posts and read them over. Wish I could write/speak the language, you guys have some mad graphic skills like 99% of people have their character's avatars all dolled up. It's always so cool to stalk. It's like an other world to me. It's crazy how languages can change so many things, even our affiliations are different sizes. Okay totally rambling here.

Oh, I'm Adira. xD I've been rping since I was... I really have no idea. I didn't start on forums though, technically, I started on paper at school. xD And then to messenger and finally forums.

Try instrumental music, at a very low volume. Another thing I do combined with that (because sometimes noise gets through anyways) is putting on white noise. It's the best thing I've ever discovered when it comes to blocking out all distracts. I wish I could just write in silence, but it can be boring for me person too. GOOD LUCK. (*￣3￣)╭

I'd love to see a video, of someone posting. Like how they go about it. I'm curious, writing 1 post, what it would look like through multiple people. I know people can get distracted, it'd be fun to see like how many times they click away to do something completely unrelated, or if they look up certain words or websites that show how to describe certain things.

I wonder what I'd learn if there are techniques etc. Maybe I'll just do it and put a video up sometime, or does that seem silly? I am someone who likes watching people draw, or do graphics too so. xD;;; Maybe it's just along the same line of interest as that. ♥

Another weird dream last night. This time it was about my rp site. But it was like waaay off. Apparently the school was split into 4 houses? the rich/awakened (colors white and gold uniform), the rich/no powers (white and blue), the poor/rebels/awakened (black and red) and finally the bottom of the tier were called the fallen, I don't remember their colors but maybe black and gray? xD;;; And they were the ones who lost their powers or never had them to begin with?? I can't remember anything else about it, ahhh! I tried so hard to recall the adventure I went on with this AU of my rp site. xD
