There’s this Filipino restaurant that I just learned about that I wanna try, but they don’t have a website. I’m also extremely white and American Midwestern so idk what to get. I’m down for suggestions for things to try if I see them on the menu

uhhhhh tbh everyone cooks filo recipes differently and i def don't know how fil-ams do it (assuming the restaurant is ran by them.) chicken inasal? sinigang is a classic. kare-kare is delicious and needs bagoong / shrimp paste. bulalo and tinola are like the soup trifecta along with sinigang.

maybe just ask them their most ordered food tbh! usually works. and get some mango juice.
