"running a small private pokemon site using this cool ttrpg system i found might actually be cool," i say to myself. "it doesn't penalize players for picking 'weak' pokemon, it has room to make things unique, and it would be fun for a small site..." and then i remember i'm just emotionally exhausted lately.

aight i've got a few things i would love to write on a private panfan and I'm hoping to find someone that communicates in clown-to-clown the way I do. I'm open to AUs and stuff, too, and in theory open to crossover ships and OCs. If you're interested in RP'ing with me, feel free to DM me c:.

Sarah Fortune for Quinn

Harold, they're lesbians. Quinn, unable to flirt properly with the hot pirate captain that is totally into her butch ass: everything I need. Bonus points if we can get a Caitlyn/Vi for double dates while Sarah occasionally lets Vi know that she's missing out (and it's true! the hottest woman in league wanted u, vi, and you chose officer cop over her!).

I might also be willing to play the Sarah in this equation. I really like her, so it's all good. Willing to play in the Star Guardian AU and the Pokemon AU with these, too.

Jhin for Annie

This is a family request! I want to play Annie as an older teenager, learning from "the best"-- a man who has always seen beauty and potential in her. I want Jhin to have complicated feelings about having a child, and I want Annie to have a serial killer dad. It would be awesome. Room is open for Jhin to have a romantic partner that Annie might reject outright and cause drama with.

Xayah and Rakan for Sett

So this is a polyship request: Xayah and Rakan having their badger boyfriend. I headcanon Rakan as the glue that holds them all together, and Xayah is very tsundere about it. I would be willing to play any part of this ship, with a preference for Sett but I can do Rakan or Xayah as well.

Caitlyn for Vi

Truth be told I'd rather play Vander with his daughters because family is great but I'm willing to play Caitlyn/Vi so long as I can write Vi.

Vi and Jinx for Vander/Warwick (also Odyssey Jinx for Odyssey Yasuo)

The first: I would love to write Vander/Warwick dealing with his children. Either in AU situations, or MU situations. I love Them. Please let me write family drama.

The second: Odyssey Jinx seems to actually be kinda happy. I get the impression that she's actually broke as hell, and that's why she's on a ship with Malphite and Yasuo. Imagine her having a good relationship with Vander and Vi, and maybe Silco as a weird uncle/other dad? The AU where they're all happy???? And I, of course, would be playing Odyssey Yasuo as well, as the Big Brother figure that is reading too many romance novels.

Lilith + Various Characters for Rathma

We're getting into the Diablo half of my requests. Basically, I'll thread Rathma with anyone from Diablo, either in the MU or the AUs I'm writing him across. I'm not picky, I just don't see blizzard canons all that often unless they're Overwatch. Pls indulge my horrible diablo addiction.

Anduin Wrynn for Garrosh and Wrathion

The first pitch: I plan on writing AU Garrosh that decided to regret his actions and learn from them. I think it would be AWESOME if he and Anduin became friends somehow, even in a sort of "i hate that guy" way.

The second pitch: Look, I'm just Wranduin trash. Always have been, always will be. Let's be Wranduin trash together.

I love League of Legends so much, especially Noxus and Piltover/Zaun and the Freljord. The only thing I will note is that I do not like JayVik or SettPhel, so I won't get your hopes up about that.

I actually thought about doing this before, but I'm always scared someone would cheat the system. I just don't like all the heavy systems and mechanics that come with it. Like, I'm wanting to write in the world and develop my character(s) and their friendship with pokemon, not have to worry about experience/levels/math. That's just me though! I've been on a couple rp sites where it's slice of life, light systems, and it was great, but like you said, at one point or another, the admins/mods just get burnt out from events/pokemon spawns/stores, etc.

I've done this before and it is chef's kiss because people are still earning their pokemon and evolutions and stuff, but like, there's less staff interaction, so it's more fun for everyone. I've had a lot of the same thoughts that you're putting down here, and have always felt like "Pokemon rping" needs a different approach overall then just like... a direct reflection of the games, if that makes sense.
tbh the harder your system, the more people are going to try to break it to get what they want. Give them no rules to break, and you'll find there's no way to power game.

which, everything u say u want, i feel, works extremely well with the Light System of just buying mons and evolutions. people who want to RP battles will still find ways to RP them, and people who just wanna do slice of life stuff can "progress" their character at their preferred pace.

i've considered making a Pokemon site with the light system and VGC rules (allowing legendaries but only 2 "restricted" ones and you have to buy those thru activity), just because i'm insane and wanna see a site where you could feasibly play with any pokemon design, but i don't have time. it comes from a deep desire to pet landorus-therian for all that he's done for me. the sites i would run if i had infinite time...

also i was gonna do a point-buy for character creation where different pokemon have different "tiers" of starting value based on game rarity/base stats/competitive viability. to kinda encourage some diversity in character creation, idk. a mon like incineroar would cost way more than a chikorita, for instance.

it's canon that in every other universe except for the main timeline, Garrosh Hellscream was a cool dude and a great hero. let me write that Garrosh. can't do it on my panfandom because i play Jaina Proudmoore in a position of power, and she would kill Garrosh on sight.

greek yogurt is my cheat sheet to try to get more fruits n veggies n protein in my diet.

we're gonna move away from eating cereal all the time and see if maybe my energy levels go up if i eat food that actually has more nutrition in it.

casually disables guest posting on all forums i run, since supposedly this is a targeted thing towards the RPC

don't think my sites are big enough to get hit, but there have been an uptick in weird RP trolls around forums as of late. it might be worth putting stricter requirements in place to post on your forum.

my staffing confession is that once i get a core memberbase, I stop advertising as much.

It's not that I don't want new members, but I feel like chasing them constantly is too much work for me. I think with my current advertising, we get new members about once every few months, and that's enough of a flow for me. I very much prefer smaller sites with a more stable community than big sites that revolve a lot.

I think it'd be more shitty to pretend you're interested in being public when you're really not, tbh.

It's kind of an asshole move to open a public site, put all the effort into the lore, and tell people they're welcome, when in truth you just wanna RP with one person. I have nothing against people who want to stick with private sites. I have everything against the "false welcome" and the communities that are done integrating people if they're not interested in their plots, but won't actually come out and say they're not interested in it.

You don't owe people a public playground to RP in. You don't owe people your time as an admin. It's not selfish to only host private RPs. It's selfish to demand that everyone with the time/talent/organization skills run a public RP.

I run public RPs still because I love them. But if you don't love them, don't do it. Simple as that.

I thought Guardian and Reminiscent were the only ones that were medieval-ish fantasy?

We've got a solarpunk one somewhere, and Zugzwang is modern. Lovelorn has a heavy fantasy bent, but it's relatively modern. Horizon Line was sci-fi, I thought, but I could be wrong.

There's also a space station one somewhere, and someone on PP just started an intergalactic one.
