alarm clocked for release of savage raids in xiv today (my group is week 1 not world first race, however, we were top 7 at some point this morning and it was such a good morale boost in the middle of turn 2)

good luck to everyone else that's considering raiding this tier!

double post but… eyes welling up, does anyone else have such a problem in FFXIV rp of people not reading a character’s Most Basic Info (like, search info, not even a carrd)… with my head in my hands, I’ve been trying to get into overworld RP and the amount of people already who cannot read (they/them only) in my wol’s search comment are gonna drive me up the waaaaaaaaall

breaking into ffxiv rp is really hard,,, honestly reading has always been a hard thing for the general xiv population but i really hope that you find some people that you click with! i'm unsure whether you've chosen to join an rp fc and although i ended my relationship with mine on a very bitter note; it's definitely worth giving them a look for the best chance of getting a longer storyline and meeting new rpers without wading through the wu/t hellscape. good luck!!!

edit: according to logs, we cleared top 200 NA and top 500 global which i genuinely cannot wrap my brain around right now

Coming around to finally finishing my first baldur's gate 3 run after getting it as a christmas present... am not emotionally prepared for it to end. On the other hand, having my dnd group of 5 having 4 different multiplayer runs to incorporate everyone has been a fun trip

somebody comes to my character and is standing right in front of him
I realize they are chatting at me
they want me to join a free company and they need me to sign off on it
I know how to do this in wow
I don’t know how to do this in ffxiv lol!
I joined but I “left party” thinking it was like wow and I would leave the smaller party
I left the company somehow??
it’s not on my list???

I feel so bad. they even gave me gold.
so bad. I didn’t intend to leave.

if it makes you feel any better, they may just want you in the signing so that they can make their new fc and then give you some gil for the trouble of it. a lot of people end up doing it. i wouldn't worry, they might have chased you up if you accidentally left their fc and asked you to rejoin. there's plenty of fcs out there , you should be able to join one without much issue - they're always recruiting
