I've always been a big fan alternate realities in comics and love to see the alternate reality team-ups (Exiles, Web Warriors, etc). Well I finally got around to watching Into the Spider-Verse and I would love to see a multiverse superhero rp. I'm talking about where everyone makes a different version of the same superhero (like Spider-Man for example) and they have to team up to stop the big threat and/or get home.

Light and I have been the only ones asking for a Deadly Class RP so it makes me happy to see someone take interest in the franchise . Deadly Class is such a simple but interesting premise that I would make the RP myself if I had the time and knowledge to actually make a site. High school for assassins set in the 80's is a nice change of pace compared to other school rps.

Well this is bringing up memories of days when Bebop RPs were more common place. I would love for an RP to be made just to see a classic get another go in the RP community. The Criminal vs. Bounty Hunter mechanic sounds interesting but I hope you have some rules thought up for it to make it work because what I'm currently picturing in my head based on the simplified explanation is kind of a mess. Because if you do then that would be a really solid mechanic.

I'm really liking this idea. I can be a sucker for soulmate stuff and mechs are underutilized in rp. Death enabled is a yes for me because I like possible drama and I would also definitely be more interested in hearing about the other species because I do like sci-fi stuff. Below I have listed some possible suggestions that I hope you're at least willing to consider upon site creation.

Questions:

Will we have to create the mechs (find pictures, write up stats, etc) or will there be a universal Mech design with minor customization in the form of paint and decals?
Mecha sites can be mildly difficult to for new players to get into who aren't familiar with the genre because of things like statistics. So I'm primarily curious if this will be a more beginner friendly site.

Are we allowed to create new aliens for half-breeds? And if so, can they be non-playable and avoid the hassle of writing up a new race that nobody will play?
I'm a fan of obscure face claims so I do have one or two nice options for alien half-breeds. I'm certain nobody will even make a character using the father species because of how alien they would look. So having to write up an entire race to use this one FC is something I would like to know.

Suggestions:

With our powers combined
The Soulbound connection being a magical power boost is fine but perhaps you should tap into other mecha tropes. I'm looking at mecha combinations specifically. Perhaps two Soulties can combine to form a new and more powerful mech. This combination, of course, can only happen with Soulbonded pilots so it stresses the importance of finding compatible pilots from a military perspective. That's not even taking into account on the whole two becoming one thing being good romantic and/or sexual symbolism depending on your outlook which ties to the soulmate theme.

Don't need no tech support
If the playable advanced AI you mentioned above is the same AI that is used to pair pilots, then perhaps it would be best if advanced AI is demoted to NPC status instead of being playable. The reason I bring this up is because you're opening yourself up to an even worse version of the problem that many Fate/Stay sites have. Two people are need to develop a pair of one AI and character so that requires one player finding another player willing to play the other. Then a player needs to be lucky to have another compatible AI/Character pair readily available to even begin any of the soulmate stuff. So a player is stuck in limbo until they are lucky enough to find three other players willing to write compatible AI/characters. It's a hassle and unfair to players stuck in the waiting process. Turning the AI into NPCs ignores this problem and even opens things up to more fun AI designs (perhaps a player wants an AI that takes the appearance of a dog or just simply uses the default wire mesh model because customization is a hassle)

I would like to see a D&D inspired rp. An actual D&D inspired rp, not one inspired by the setting. I'm talking about having to make a "real" character along with their "totally not D&D" character and actually role play their role playing. Make the whole thing an Adventurer's League inspired thing where all the players meet up at a game shop to play different modules to explain how people can be in different groups for character interaction.

I want to see jocks awkwardly try this game out of curiosity. I want to see nerds being the big damn hero. I want to see pacifists explode in rage over bad roles. I want to see the various quirky things and characters that this game creates emulated in an rp.

A Deadly Class inspired role-play, should probably be on Jcink tho, would be lit.
If you don't know what it is, it's getting a series that's coming out next year based on the comics.
It's nice to see a kindred spirit. I mean it's a simple enough rp to make considering King's Dominion is just a private high school (that just so happens to train the next generation of assassins). Just take your standard high school rp format and change the usual school classes students can take into other categories like "Beheading 101" and "Poisoning" and you have the rp. The 1980's setting is a must though because we don't have enough rps set in the 80's.

You should know my stance on this from the Interest Check thread. But as a refresher, I'm interested in taking something like the slice of life school rp and adding a fantastical twist to it. My only complaint (please keep in mind that this is a very minor and personal complaint) is that the school is on Earth. The Earth location just doesn't scream casual sci-fi to me.

My suggestion: Instead of making it Earth, make it an Earth Analog (like a terraformed Proxima b or just a made up planet). The school can be about educating the next generation as human kind expands beyond our solar system, perhaps even being the first school of a new colony. And the idea of Elemental Affinities from our own planets can still be around because evolution and space radiation is funny like that.

But as I said above, my complaint is very minor and doesn't change the fact that I'm interested in the site regardless of what you do. I just hope it'll be a high school setting simply because I want slice of life sci-fi school drama.

a non-bnha hero school rp. like sky high or x-men evolution, possibly? maybe instead of a "hero school" it can be a "villain school" or a even a "villainous reform/rehab/juvie"? ooooh, a villain juvie/rehab where villainous youth attempt to be "reformed" to modern societal standards? maybe a darker (and edgier) look at superhero society where those labeled "bad" are treated like criminals regardless of their character/exploits?
You could go the X-men route and have innocent people get locked up simply because they have powers. But I'm honestly more interested in the idea of villainous youth being forced to go through juvie/rehab (think DC's Belle Reve but as a juvie facility). Too many sites focus on the hero perspective so this would be an interesting alternative. Having all of these unstable individuals in one confined area while being forced to become "normal" would be a complete blast.

I would prefer if characters with magic or alien origins would also be allowed just for the sake of variety but metas alone works.

I have an incredibly strong hankering for a wild west rp, based off of Red Dead Redemption, Westworld, etc. Bandits, hard-up sheriffs, outlaws-turned-vigilantes, the whole shebang! If you wanted to mix it up a little, you could even throw a dash of fantasy in there with specialty characters like shamans or witches, who have magical abilities like healing, fire manipulation, or control of animals.

Unfortunately, I feel like the western genre is not a popular one to roleplay. I never see any, which is a huge shame.
Sadly it isn't a popular genre and that's a damn shame. Trigun was the first rp board that I ever joined so I would love to take a trip down memory lane with the genre. I even have a few FCs in mind for just such an occasion.

Perhaps make a Trigun AU? I mean there's a chance that it would survive on both genre and name alone.

I know slice-of-life school rps can be a common thing. But what about slice-of-life school rps set in a fantasy or sci-fi setting? No systems and any of that junk or pages of extended lore. Just take the super casual approach of school rps and just splash a new coat of paint on them. A terraformed Mars is a good example. It's still your casual school rp with your classes and cliques and clubs. But it just so happens to take place on a terraformed Mars.

I just like seeing the fantastical blend in with the mundane.

This pitch sounds a lot like a certain rp that went into offline mode not too long ago (especially the sorting by cliques part). With that said, you really should go for it. There is always a place for something really casual like this.

Do you have any ideas for this small town setting or will it be something more stereotypical?

I just started reading the comic Skyward by Joe Henderson and would love to see a site based on it. The earth has become a low gravity world after the events of G-day, the day when the earth's gravity shifted. Humanity has done what it does best and adapted to this drastic change. But they must remain vigilant or risk floating away into space like the poor victims of G-day. Currently humans are split between two groups, those who use magnetized shoes to stay on the streets in fear of floating away and those who embrace this low gravity and learned to freely soar the sky scrapper tops with the aid of equipment.

Of course there's going to be more to it considering that there is only four issues currently and I don't want to risk spoiling any of the story for any who may be interested in reading it. But that is the basic setting for the comic. The idea itself is unique and would probably make for an interesting slice of life rp that is very familiar but simultaneously fantastical.
